Spanschachteln haben einen sehr lange Tradition, und finden auch heute noch vielfältig Verwendung, z.B. als Schmuckdose, Brillenetui oder auch Nähschachtel.
Diese langovale Spanschachtel besteht Esche. Der sanft abgerundete Deckel, sind eingesetzt und mit Holznägeln fixiert, den Verschluss habe ich mit Birkenwurzel vernäht, die ich im Wald ausgegraben habe.
