Diese Schachtel orientiert sich in Form und Verschlussgeflecht an den Haithabufunden. 
Sie ist jedoch schlicht, ohne Dekor.
Sie besteht aus Eiche, wurde fein geschliffen.
mit Mohnöl und Wachs behandelt.
* Sie hat einen dunklen Streifen in der Wandung, das ist kein Riss (siehe letztes Foto)*

 

This box is based on the Haithabu finds in terms of shape, and braiding.
However, it is simple, without decoration.
It is made of oak, finely sanded, and treated with poppyseed oil and wax.
*it has a dark stripe in the front which is no crack, as you see in the last close up picture)*
