Spanschachteln haben einen sehr lange Tradition, und finden auch heute noch vielfältig Verwendung, z.B. als Schmuckdose, Brillenetui oder auch Nähschachtel.
Diese Spanschachtel besteht aus Esche.
Deckel und Boden aus Nussbaum.
Sie sind eingesetzt und mit Holznägeln fixiert, den Verschluss habe ich mit Birkenwurzel vernäht, die ich hier im Wald ausgegraben habe.

Jede Spanschachtel ist einzigartig, keine wird wie die andere.

this one is made of ash and walnut.
Bottom and lid are fixed with wooden nails, the braiding I`ve made of birch roots, I harvest here in the forrest.
